Freaky thing happened to me last night...

Well I havent ever had much luck night fishing on my lake, but decided to give it a go last night anyways. I got on the water at 9:00pm and started fishing a jitterbug. Well I caught 2 small bass, and other than that it was a very dead evening. Now heres the scary part. It was about 11pm and I was in the middle of the lake, still throwing the jitterbug in some deeper water. Then out of the blue I heard a flapping noise, similar noise as if you got a rag and whipped it in the air. I look up and see two huge blood red eyes staring at me and a dark body flying about 30 feet above me. I pissed my pants and screamed like a little girl. It sorta resembled a bat, or a "guy" in a black cape thing. I was scared sh!tless and hauled *** back to the dock, and just jumped out and ran home. Left my fishing stuff and everything. Im not sure what happened or where the thing went after I saw it, I never looked back for it. Went back early this morning with my dad to gather my fishing stuff.

I did some research and looked around online for a bit today, and it turns out there has been some other sightings of, "mothman", as its called, around Kerrville. All I know I was so scared, I was ready to die than miss with that thing. Just thought I would share this with ya'll and see if anyone has any info or if I should report it, or has encountered anything wierd like this themselves.

You dont have to, its hard for me to even believe it. It was crazy though and no matter how good the bass are biting Im not going fishing at night again.

Acid was one of my favorites in my youth but i'll be danged if i ever saw something like that . I'm sure i would of ran all the same myself . On the bright side it was a unique experience that you won't soon forget creepy none the less but unique . Still you should keep a eye out to try ta catch a better glimpse of it .

Go to the bookstore and look for a book called weird Texas. There might be something in that book that relates.

Seriously its a book about the things n your state (tourist etc, as well as animals.)

Michigan has many reports of Wolfman whether I believe them or not.

Sounds crazy. Go rent mothman prohpecies.....

Hey lowrider, I bet we would have been fishing him outta the lake when the beavers were slapping the water next to the boat on our last night trip. Noting like a small explosion next to you in the pads at midnight to get the blood a flowin.
