A "New" Wave...
Well, after browsing the endless bags and bags of soft-plastics at Cabela's last night, a "new" wave of thought hit me...
Why spend all the money on Roboworm, Gulp!, Powerbait, Hardnose, when the Cabela's Aqua Glow, Action Tail, and Northland Slurpies worms look and smell, all the same? I didn't buy any due to lack of funds, but I really looked into them and liked the looks of some of them. They are also cheaper and have different designs than many major companies. It seems this would be a good thing after fish are being pounded time-after-time, again and again, with the same popular bait. Here's just a few of the ones I was looking at... http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...Glow&noImage=0 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...Glow&noImage=0 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...Glow&noImage=0 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...Glow&noImage=0 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...l&N=4887&Nty=1 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...l&N=4887&Nty=1 What do you guys think of these "Aqua Glow" worms? I don't really care for the glow or not, I just like the desgin and price of these baits. -Lunk-

Lunk,
I bought a bag or two of the Cabela's aqua glow worms a couple of years ago and had no luck with them. Maybe I didn't have enough patience with them, but I caught fish on the other worms. Good luck, I hopethey prove to be successful for you! BF |

Thanks, BF!
I think I am going to try them. Maybe buy a bag or two and go from there. Mainly the popular colors, and if they produce, I'll venture further... -Lunk-

LL. Might I suggest you find someone who pours their own worms? You might be able to locate someone who could sell you bulk quantities of the type you are looking for at a good price. There are many guys on different boards who talk about pouring their own and sell them at good prices. I go crazy for toads and bought some from such a guy. I will see how they do against my favorite (Horny Toad) and if they compare I could save a few bucks over the season. They will color them just about any color you want too.
