well come to the site. with a few eceptions this site is full of eastern guys a guy from the mid west -other than texas- may have a few new tricks.

nothing wrong with catching a few differant fish as long as ya pronounce crappie with and "A" unlike some folks on here...

Thanks guys and gals!

I more than likely will never become a bass only guy cause crappie and walleye is the MAIN COURSE in my neck of the woods. We do have some good bass here but I only go after them on occasion. I consider myself pretty decent at catching bass though. I have a little trouble with finding them once in awhile. We fish for LM and SM in a variety of different waters ranging from farm ponds to 10 acre lakes to major reservoirs. I mainly use crankbaits(Big O's are my favorite for bass), spinnerbaits, and a few soft plastics when targeting bass.

I have even caught a LMB that went a little over 10#! Now, how cool is that for a CRAPPIE & EYES kinda guy!

If I could I would be doing it for a living. Welcome to the board. And it is correct to say crappie with an A. Croppie is someone who gathers crops.

Heh Zook, now there's two guys from the Mid-west. Welcome aboard LMB. When I want food, I fish for crappie and walleye, When I want fun, I fish for bass. Not particularly fond of eating fish...but when I get in the mood, it's got to be crappie or walleye.
