Default 9 pounds 10 ounces in One Cast!

I went to a spot near my house to look for peacock bass. I left at 5:26, got to the spot at 5:30 and knew I had to be home by 6:00. I didn't see any peacocks, so I blind casted an X-Rap. The lure rolled over on the surface, and there was a disturbance. I set the hook and knew that I either had a big largemouth or a foul hooked fish. After fighting it for a little bit, I see it. It is a beautiful largemouth! Another nice one swam up next to it, and next thing I know I had two on. Both fish are pulling, but neither got off. I got both of them up and...

The bigger weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces and the smaller fish weighed 4 pounds 7 ounces !!

The 5 pound 3 ouncer

The 4 pound 7 ouncer

The X-Rap with 5 out of 6 hooks straightened/bent

I left at 5:50 to go home and got home before 6:00. I have never had this happen before, and it was awesome! The bigger fish is the biggest largemouth I have ever caught on a non-worm artificial.

You seem to have "good mojo" while fishing. You have more luck fishing with one cast than I have fishing a whole afternoon on the lake.

I'll have to add you to the list of people who caught 2 fish on the same cast. I saw Nitro911 do the same thing on a Zara Spook. Well done!

Of course my two fish combined weren't as big as his small fish.
