Default Choosing between two rods

I'm going to sell my dad a rod and reel for $50.
It's a 6'6"MH and I want to replace it with a nicer one. I'm choosing between St.Croix Avids and Airrus Co-Matrixes. I'm also going to buy a 6'6"M. I'm definately going to get one of each, but I don't know which brand I should be buying for which rod.

I want the 6'6"MH for mostly soft plastics. Small jigs and stuff. Ya know, just an all around rod.

I want the 6'6"M for topwaters and crankbaits. Stuff with treble hooks.

I was thinking of putting a Revo SX or TD-A on the 6'6"MH, a Quantum Tour PT on the 7'0H, (a different rod of mine) and a Revo STX on the 6'6"M.

Could you guys help me out with the setup. (Rods especially)
Thanks a lot
