My morning

Well headed out a about 5:35 to pick up my brother for our normal saturday morning fishing trip never mind that it was pouring,thundering and lighting out still . When i got to his house he unfortunately was unable to leave as his girlfriend had to work and he had to watch his son . So I headed out by myself for a bit and while the fishing was tough while the rain was heavy it was still a good trip caught my first bass on a jig since just after the ice cleared this spring and caught a couple pickerel as well , also had a up close and personal moment with a few deer that just about gave me a heart attack as I was heading back to the car .Not to many pictures because well i was alone and hate taking the end of the arm shots . The first picture is how hard it was raining when I got to the lake . and the last is a tree that the storm brought down while I was fishing .

Nice fish, there. Fishing alone in the rain> being alone indoors. Besides, im sure that jig catch musta felt nice

Way to tough it out Jim! I'd be scared of that deer too. Deer with lazer eyes are deadly this time of year!
