Default Trailor Bearings

Since I just got my boat I am not sure how to tell the size of the bearings for the trailer. I want to keep an extra set w/ me but not sure how to determine the size.

i would buy the whole hub it is about $15 more -or so- but about 20 mintues faster when replacing it.. lets face it if they go you will likly end up with your butt 2" off the white line with bad drivers sailing by at 80 mph.. and at night.. just snatch the whole hub off get all the seals put new hub on. pack with grease, put wheel back on drop the boat -good to go.. in your spare non fishing time you can replace the bearings/seals at will. it will take about 45 mintues to change them on the work bench or about an hour road side..

i have not had to replace my stratos bearing *knock on wood* yet.. but i have the spare hub if need be..

If the manufacturer doesn't have them listed, then the only way I know is to take em out.

Agree with Zooker-replacing the whole hub is just as easy as seals/bearings. Need to do that myself in a couple of months.
