Are the underwater boat comeras worth the money?

Never seen one personally, but I would say no.
Visibility would seem to be an issue.

I have an older (6-8 years) Aqua-Vu that works pretty well. In the clear lakes I bet you can see 10 feet away and in the more dirty ones 3-4. It is great on days when the fish are not biting since it is something to play with. Also it helps me learn what my sonar is seeing since if I mark something then I can drop the camera down and see what it really is, most of the time weeds.
Plus I am really looking forward to using it ice fishing. Mine has a direction arrow, temp sensor, and lights.
