Just got off the water, had about 10 bass today, got 7 to the boat..first 3 came over hydrilla beds on flats on the baby fluke, they all felt like a wet rag when they hit, then had on smack the sh*t out of a white hart spinner bait, that was a decent fish, but the first 3 were only about 13 inchers.
Got a baby bass on a minus one, then started working some laydowns with a senko, nothing yeilded...About 10 the wind really kicked up to about 20+mph and I remember pnj telling me about working the hydrilla beds with a ratLtrap, burning it over the surface, and I got 6 to hit , 4 got in my hands at the boat, had one NICE one, but none of the others were over 2 lbs tho... water temp was 70, lake was up a couple of feet, but still gin clear, air temp 63...most fish caught on flats. |
