Default Coangler?

Anyone ever been one? How was the experience and what series did you fish in? I'm thinking of giving it a go next year just to learn some new stuff.

Do a series so you learn about a bunch of different lakes over a course of a year, usually the boater has expereince on the lake if its a state series and he prefishs most of the time.plus you might be able to make a dollar if you're good.just make a goal to catch fish every tournament and make a goal on where you want to be in the AOY.BFL's are great and its only $100 per tournament, they pay out good and you will learn a lot

Is there a good website to learn more about it, maybe one that is geared to Texas, or alabama.. etc???

I'd love to be a co-angler.

But I'm sure of two potential problems:

1. The boater would have a heart attack when he saw how big I am.

2. When he started blasting around at 70 mph, I'd be the one to have a heart attack.

So unless I want to drive the boat, it isn't happening.

i was thinking about doing this as well in the next two years....I found an article on etiquette that was a pretty good read...

http://www.classicbass.com/edzoneDB5.htm

ill keep an eye on this ,cause i would love to read about someone's experience.....my other question would be,if (for fun) you and the pro made it in the money....what kind of pay out would the co-angler recieve?
