Default Beer Bottlecap Fishing Lure...

Any of you guys ever used one of these or tried making one? I think it would be fun to try and make a couple for some friends... If you don't know what i'm talking about it is one of these...

Anyone happen to have a link with some specifics or some advice before I start this little project?

I haven't used one and am pretty sure I would't pay $4.99 for one.

I have a buddy whose favorite salmon lure is a bottle opener. It was something his Grandpa, who had a charter on Lake Michigan, showed him.

I would make a bottle cap lure and expect succes on trout and salmon, I haven't had any success with spoons of any sort for bass.

well I am quite confident I can put some together, but A couple of the specifics are alittle vague like I think most people will stick some split shot in the middle to add weight. Some will flatten the outside so it holds smoother. I dunno just thought it would make for an interesting topic

That technique is called "shot gunning". Back in college, I would use a pen.
