Battery Charger
I need to borrow you'lls expertise for a few minutes.
I recently bought an on-board battery charger, the problem is I have nowhere to permanently install so it reaches both batteries, unless I install it upside down, but I had an idea & wanted to know if you'll think is might work. The only spot to install right side up is beside the trolling battery & Its about 3-4 inches shy of the main battery from being able to connect to it. I thought about getting some cabinet hardware specifically the hardware for the pull out drawers(just like the regular kitchen drawers with tracks) the ones that have the 2 tracks the drawers runs on. I was going to install in the spot where it is 3-4 inches shy, but with this drawer hardware/tracks I could just slide it out when I needed to charge & the slide it back into place when done charging. Does this sound like it would work, Ican picture it in my head but wanted opinions as you'll might have an easier solution than what i have come up with far. Please advise & as always I appreciate all of you'lls help greatly |

I agree with JB on this one, Cmac-it seems to me it would be a whole lot easier to get some cables to extend long enough to reach your battery. You can get them most anyplace that handles batteries. I think I have seen them from 6 inches up.

Hey Cmac, welcome to the forum. Where are you located? Give us a little insite on where you're at and maybe the rest of us can benefit on the crappie or bass population.
