Uni to uni to tie braid to mono or fluor. Tried tested and the only one that works without having a giant knot running through the eyes of your rod. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/776453...e_an_uni_knot/

This is not the best video out there but it does show in large detail how the knot works. So again tie any knot you want as long as its a uni to uni.

I'm with Vegas-a uni-to-uni knot has served me extremely well.

I use the Uni-to-Uni as well. Switched from the albright special last year and haven't looked back.

http://www.animatedknots.com/indexfi...matedknots.com is a great place for learning knots, however, they don't have the uni-to-uni.

http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Tie...-Knot-64271747

This video shows how to tie a Uni to Uni knot. The video maker refers to the knot as the Double Uni.

I Hope this helps.

I do two small cinch knots. Never had an issue, and both knots come together in line with the rest of the line, so no bulk to screw up in the eyes.
