LSU Rebuild
I built this rod earlier this year only to have it returned to me in Sept and broke: http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...ight=lsu+build
The story goes that he lifted a #3 and it snapped 8" back between the guides. But I feel like I did the guy's wife just with the new one and dolled it up a little for her. She seemed very pleased. I hope she keeps it away from the rod breaking villain.  Something I did come on by accident I thought was cool was reversing the check in to the reel seat.
