i have seen some like that before and they do look like they would work pretty good, but i don't want to put that concrete in my boat. so i am gonna go with something that won't make such a mess or scratch my boat up.

We put something similar in our local pond. We poured the concrete into 3 gallon buckets. Made it a little easier to transport for me.
The other thing we did was to put in a couple of 1 inch pieces of PVC and slip a water noodle over them to make a few thicker spots. It worked well for us.

No , thats no PVC ive ever seen. I would say with 98% certainty those are hoses cut up into sections.

at an oilfield supply store. my dad just happens to own one. so if you have a store in youre area you can probably get some. it comes in a roll. the smallest is 500' rolls it comes in 1", 2",3" and 4" diameter. any thing bigger comes in sticks. but id think that 2" would be the best.

Hey Ryan thanks for clearing that up I wasnt real sure what they called it I just got back from Home Depo and back in the outdoor pond section they have the same stuff but I think it only went to a 1 1/2" diameter but it still would work great and the smallest roll you can get there is 50ft. But I have found that these structures work great!

I have a buddy who spends the whole off season making attractors and placing and plotting them on his gps in order to gain an advantage when local tourneys start up again. He makes them out of Pvc and cinder blocks. He will never give me waypoints to them though ...

In Texas you have to have a permit to sink these in a public lake...you might want to check your local regulations.
