FYI Texting from email
Some of you tex'rs might get some use out of this. I work offshore and it helps me keep in touch with a lot of people around the house. You just send the number@carrier and they can reply back for a conversation. It does not count as an email towards the cell user, only a text. Here is a list of the carriers:
Carrier Send Email to phonenumber@.... Alltel = @message.alltel.com Amp'd Mobile = @vtext.com ATT = @txt.att.net Cingular @mobile.mycingular.com Nextel @messaging.nextel.com Sprint @messaging.sprintpcs.com SunCom @tms.suncom.com T-mobile @tmomail.net VoiceStream @voicestream.net Verizon @vtext.com (text) Verizon @vzwpix.com (pictures) US Cellular @email.uscc.net (text) US Cellular @mms.uscc.net (pictures) Cricket @mms.mycricket.com Virgin @vmobl.com AT&T @mms.att.net Cingular @cingularme.com (not sure) Boost Mobile = @myboostmobile.com Einstein PCS = @einsteinmms.com Cellular South = @csouth1.com If you need any other carriers, just email me and I will send you my full list.
