Why you should start.

It's one of the most fun, and enjoyable activities that i can think of. You have a chance of fishing for the most prized gamefish in America.

Why you shouldn't.

SOME bass anglers have cocky attitudes, which will make you wanna pull your hair out. And the pulse of wanting to have the best boat, lures, and reels will make a hole in your wallet.

Come on, speak your mind.

The old man said the other day he could shoot ray scott for what he started (not literally, of course)....

I think it is valid to question whether or not the tournament bass fishing ethos has contaminated the popular pursuit of bass a little too much. I can see both sides.

Still, there is nothing keeping a man from being a purist and not associating with other cocky ike wannabees. It can still be an intimate, solemn sport and you can be as old school as you like.
