Default My Back Yard

Just thought I would give you guys a snap shot of what I am up against
all the time living near a famous lake. Everyone wants to fish it oh and yeah they are good.... I had a previous business commitment and did not enter only to have the business commitment move but after registration was closed. Figures I had a solid 11-12lb located for at least two days. I know easy to say when you know there but it would not have been enough. FYI I know the spot Johnson speaks of. The state have been feeding trout into the area. That’s all I am gonna say about it except he would have had company had I been there to fish..

Well the secerty got out and he slipped a little. Johnson's a great stick but he has Brent Ehrler lurking in the back groud. The new guys are finding out just how tough Lake Mead can be. I need to research it but there have been a series of non stop tournaments on the lake this year... The beds are empty and there are stories of them hitting them on top of the head with jigs and nothing.

I hate when they get like that but you can't do anything about it. Are there not many fish to catch on the lake or are they just mostly small? Or both?

Been wanting to fish Mead for a couple years now. My Dad has a place in Vegas. I'm too poor to book a guide though lol

There is a ton of fish back in the lake. They are letting water out and all the pressure just makes it tough. This is when a big lake gets really small. It sucks when you need to run 40-50 miles one way and you only have 8 hours. Now through in the wind and pleasure boaters.... O well same thing just about anyware you go I guess.

Running that far I can see why you have the air craft carrier Z522. You would be beat half to death in a go fast boat if it was rough, which I'm sure it always is.

Default No problem

No problem I thought maybe you moved to a better lake - if there is one! If I drag my boat that way can I talk you into showing me around the lake this summer?

It's a dream of mine to fish it. I might be just taking you up on it. There is a 50/50 chance that I am relocating back to Florida full time - if so be an easy trip. Same to you if you ever make it to Vegas I will show you the better side of this town.
