Default Mattlures sunfish

Ok, I know that many on this site have been talking about fishing minimalism. But, I still like to buy a few new trinkets every now and then. And since I need to replace the special soft plastic bait that I recently discovered, I figured that I would buy something else to throw into the order. I mean, they are going to be delivering the soft plastic that I need so why not . . .

Anyway, I was looking at those Sunfish swimbaits from Mattlures. Anyone try these yet? Are they worth a try?

Haven't tried 'em, but sure have drooled over them...They look amazing. I think we've talked about them here before, try a search for Mattlures.

I haven't tried them, but I know a guy from another board who swears by them. He is the kind of guy that if he tells you it is a good bait you can take it to the bank.

I've been debating getting a couple myself based on his recommendation.

I´ve got several of them and they are worth every penny, are they worth a try ? of course they are, they´re not THAT big of a swimbait to deter smaller fish from hitting them, but don´t expect miracles, fishing with them doesn´t mean you´ll get a 10 pounder on every cast, ok?, it may take hours of casting and hundreds of casts before you hook something.

Hope you have a rod capable of handling them because they are over an ounce and a half in weight.

If you want something slightly lighter with a little bit more catch ratio I seriously recommend you should get a Mattlures Baby Bass.
