I use 3 inch trout worms on a small hook with a size bb splitshot 10 inches up the line.

Number 8 hook, short shank works well. Worms, crickets, corn borers, grasshoppers......all good natural baits. For the flyrod, a black foam spider with white legs, size 10 or 12 works very, very well. All of the above will occasionally catch bass. If you don't use a flyrod, you can use a float and spider with a 4 foot leader. Good fishing, Mac
