Default Daiwa TD Pro Spinning reel problem

I got a TD pro today and was going to switch around the handle when I realized it was too complicated. So I decided to put it back on lefty and the part called the collar broke in half and the bearing retainer clip flew off. i couldnt find the clip anywhere. Now this is on the non handle side which is the right. Since the knob is still holding the bearing somewhat in place, is it OK to fish it? Its still working. thanks!

Man, that shouldn't happen. I'd return it for another one. I have a buddy that has one and he loves his. Probably a fluke.

If you just got it today, take it back. BPS is normally good about stuff like that.
