http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/1/0/82945210.htm What does everybody think about this? It's a bit expensive, but if it is a real good deal, I might be able to talk my dad into it.

I can't see a receptacle for a seat pedestal on the front OR rear deck. What's up with that
Has the boat been used in salt water? If it was, it might have been ordered w/o provisions for fishing seats. Also, might the boat have been so worn or damaged that it required new decking and the seller didn't bother with seat provision?
Don't buy the assertion that "Oh, we always stood to fish, so never needed seats."
If the boat WAS used in salt water, with that engine on it, I'd be somewhat leery.
In any event, insist on having the boat thoroughly inspected by a professional NOT acquainted with the seller. You might save a lot of misery and money by paying for a serious hull and engine inspection.
You'd need a trollmotor too, and I hope the existing holes could be used.

Just sayin'.

FLABASS,
Sounds a little high priced to me. I sold my 1991 Ranger 392 in 2000 for $7500. It was equipped with a 175 Merc Black Max, which was the Max HP allowed on that boat. The 200 may be a little over the allowable for that boat.

1988, thats questionable. Ref. the price. The boat has been restored, but why ? Yes, some of the common necessities are not on the boat (as was mentioned before).
Ask questions, ref. hours, salt water, damaged equipment. Make sure that all is well with the boat.
As was stated before, you may be able to find another deal thats better than this one.

I agree with the others. Even though it is a ranger and resale on them is usually higher than others its a bit high. That hull is a good running hull used to fish outta a 371V which is the single console version of the 375. That motor is a good one IF it was taken care of. ASK alot of questions if your are serious about this one. As stated there arnt any seat bases showing and why wherent they put back in. That particular motor is a wanted motor for the racing enthusiast because the hp possibitlities are endless with that motor. CHECK IT OUT thouroughly if you are serious and feel free to give us a holler if you want more advise or questions answered.
