Default Triton Storm 16

http://www.boattrader.com/find/listi...Storm-96463760

E-mail I got from the dealership:

Mike,

The new Triton Storm is going to be an all welded boat, it will be 16'
and have a 48" bottom. It will have a horse power rating 50 . They should
start production sometime mid March and we should be getting them sometime
in April. Please feel free to call or e-mail with any questions you may
have.

Thank You,

Scott James

That seems like a really good price and I bet it is a good boat. The only thing I would worry about is it being pretty narrow. I had a boat with a similar hull, I don't remember how wide the bottom was though. It was very tipsy side to side:

I kind of wish I still had it and put a 9.9 or something on it to get on limited HP lakes. Don't get me wrong, it was a great boat for getting out there on the water but you really had to pick your days since it was light and any waves/wind made it tough to control with the 28# TM mine had.

If I was in that market again I'd probably look at the Lowes: Cabelas in Dundee
A guy I fished with has an ST190 I think, it is very wide and a nice boat. He's been out on Grand Lake with us in some pretty rough water and gotten through it. It looks like the 16' and 17' models are similar and pretty close to the price of the Triton.

Edit: I just saw that the STs at Cabelas are a few years old, so maybe they are more expensive but they have 50 HP motors.

Either Dundee is really bad at updating their site or those are still available.
I'd take that 06 ST170.
$4795 less than a 2010
