ahh tiller handles
in the mid 1950's omc brought forth a sleak new moter called the star flite. this was a 4 cylinder v-twin moter the cylinders were twin shot gun style.-think 2 harley moters stacked on top one nother-it has hands down the most reliable belt driven outboard moter ever made..they then put this areodynamic-lol- hood cover over the moter. but they also put the single most useless feature ever to be added to any outboard moter-ever-in this time frame..the infamus rototiller handles, see below
yes dammit i wish this boat had fins.. but it don't-i would have bought it if it had fins-.the peelin paint is from nearly a half a centry of tarheel state sun beating on it..the rude is on a 58 thunderhawk which is for sale btw.. i know what your thinking why not put it on the stratos... not this moter -a 85 horse-weighs more than the ENTIRE hull weight of my boat.-my fat azz inculded- 785 pounds of cast iron.with out water.. zooker
