New Guy on Board!
Hello!
I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself to you all. My name is G. Wayne Byrd and I am a Outdoor Writer, Pro Angler and Seminar Speaker. I was a member of a forum some time ago and it was all about bashing the other members and it turned out to be very upsetting! I did some research on your forum and it looks to be a stable friendly place. My goal has always been to help others catch more fish and bigger fish, especially children! With that said, I would like to become an active member of your community here at BassFishin.com and contribute as much as I can. I look forward to even fishing with some of you from time to time. I am from Texas, but now live in Colorado, but I travel quite a bit and you never know where I might be vistiting next! I would also like to offer you forum members discounts from my sponsors. Below is a list: Ardent Reels Airrus Rods BassWax Buckeye Shad BugBand CROCS Footwear Culprit plastics FishGillz Sunglasses Gamakatsu Hi-Seas Lines Natural Motion Lures Reel Grip Rising Tools Rat-L-Trap SmartShield Sunscreens

Welcome,Another persons view can be a great learning value , no matter the age of the student. Ivan
P.S. I probably am the only unstable person here, but as long as I take my Bi polar meds, I am alright for the most part.I used to swear alot but I will continue to ammend that bad habit as well.

Hey man, welcome to the Nut-House. I've belonged to other forums, and most of them I haven't been back to. This is by far the best one on the web. And like you said, one of the reasons is we don't put up with crap like that.
anyways, enjoy the forum and all the great advice that's given on here. BB

Welcome Bassmaster. I'm sure you will enjoy this website. Kevin has done a lot with remaking it recently, and the improvements are very nice indeed. Your right about this being a friendly place. Lots of good folks in here who are quite willing to share knowledge, pass on helpful info, whether it's about fishing or the right sized shovel to dig a hole. It's kinda like a family here. And of course, everyone here is always looking for any advice others are willing to share. So feel free to add some input.

Welcome!
From time to time there have been conflicts but usually they resolve themselves ...a day or two or politics debates or gear/equipment discussions. But whats so useful about this forum is that many members are spread out throughout the U.S. and its always given me insight to others techniques and gear/lure choices, when I note that the air and water temps are about the same as I'm experiencing here in the ohio valley. Most of my now favorite lures are directly from input from these members that have tried them and reported back on the pros and cons of each item (papa craws, horny toads, and the bandit 100) are 3 examples of lures I'd never heard of and once I bought them they immediately increased the number of fish and quality of fish in the live well. Hope ya have plenty of stuff to share with us and post any pics ya have (ahem) |

Anyway, I have read some of your stuff and I’ve found it to be very interesting and informing, especially your articles on jiggin’ and wormin’.. Welcome, and hope to hear more from you
