Lately what have been your peak times?
My lake it has been around 4:50 PM
Other lakes it has been around 10am to 12 Pm
On the sunny days it has been in the morning.

Mine has been the later the better... normally around 5 pm when the water is at its warmest but not starting to cool down yet. Stopped leaving the house reel early because we weren't catching anything until 11 or 12. By 3 a few more, by 5 much better numbers.

it totally depends on the water temp..when it gets down in the 40 or so later in the day is the key time. when the water temp hits 70+ night or VERY early in the morning is the best time..

I've always picked late afternoon for better fishing in late fall or mid spring.
