Default Pros using the bathroom

I've been meaning to ask this question since I started fishing.

What do pros do when they need to use the crapper out on the water?

i think it mentioned this in Mike Iaconellis book that you can get out of the boat for nature is calling emergencies..... but most of the time i bet they hold it.... or you just pee out the side of the boat

I've never fished with a pro who's had to go during a tournament. I have in club tournaments and some money tournaments but never in the big tournaments I've fished too.

But I do know that you must remain in sight of your partner at all times during the tournament .

you could always use an empty live well to drop a duce if you had to go.......... im not speaking from experience but i have thought about it just in case of emergency.

To elaborate on what Kevin posted, let me pose the question;

Just why do you think the quick-drying nylon guidewear pants became so popular in recent years? Remember, every cast counts. Unzipping takes time.

Now this is serious, no contraversy intended. Some anglers, race car drivers, etc, use this. It's called a "Condom Catheter" or "Texas Catheter". You run a tube down your leg and into the bilge or over the side. It can also be attaced to a bag.

Never seen a lady standing peeing against a tree just like a man?

The following, and others similar products are designed for sportswomen to stand whilst peeing.

I post this to hopefully assist any lady members who also wants to easily pee over the side and are not aware of the product.

Bryan showed me this handy little contraption one day out on the golf course... Perhaps there is a fishing rod version.

On the NYC reservoirs, we use a "Pickle jar" or even a a 7-11 coffee cup. Then just dump and rinse in the water. As for the big C, it's more complicated. we need to row to the closest accessible shore line. Do your business, and that's that. Most of us carry a roll of TP just in case. You need to bury the TP after use as per the NYC DEP booklet on this very topic.

Did you hear the one about the guide on lake fork who carried a couple out one day? The lady had to go, but didn't want to have to run all the way back so the guide said, well if you gotta go just go in the live well. She said no at first but after a while she couldn't help it...the guide heard "bloop...bloopbloop....".

JOOLEYN & ALL
It is permissable for either the Pro or the Co-Angler to leave the boat for a nature call, however, the partner is not allowed to continue fishing until the missing angler is back in the boat. I was lucky enough to be in a cove that had a public restroom when the urge hit, and not in an area full of poison ivy.
