Went out on the lake for a little while after school today and got 7 bass. I'm pretty sure the spawn has started because I was having a bite on nearly every cast... They were taking my worm/lizard and moving it a short distance and then they were off of the line. I missed so many hooksets and some I set too late. Not used to all of these "spawn strikes" if you will.

Sounds more like bluegill to me.
But congrats on the 7. I've still only got one for the year. BB

Maybe you could do a countdown on the bait and find approximate depth and try a rogue or a shallow crankbait in a bluegill color to follow the worm bite. It's gonna be tough for them to spit it out.
