BPS Catalogue
Got my BPS Master Catalogue last week. I love the thing but I am a bit disappointed because they didn't add much since last season.
Why can't they sell some brands other than the regular players? I would love to see brands like Megabass, Case Baits, ect . . . And, for whatever reason, they do not have all the colors of the brands they stock (for instance, I want methiolate senkos but the catalogue doesn't have them). |

Yeah, I remember when I was a kid . . . I would get the catalog and find all kinds of stuff that I didn't see in the stores.

Seems like there's been many posts about this lately. Maybe try replying to another one; we've had enough of these posts...

Lunk, sorry if my post was somewhat duplicative . . . I haven't been as active on this site lately.

Seems to me that they are trying to sell there own products more so than ever. I.e. Those sponsored by BPS.

Bassnman, you might have a point. Perhaps the sponsored brands are the featured brands.

BPS Catalogue
With all of the online sites you can go to these days (including BPS) it seems almost pointless to distribute those catalogues. Mine found a temporary resting spot beside the Master John! Bassin' Magazine, Bass Times get first billing though!

Bob, my BPS catalog is in the same place . . . right next to the toilet.
I hope that they never stop makin' them because fishin' mags are porn for grown men. |

Did you know that Sears catalog was originally marketed with a non-glossy paper that made it perfect for wiping your bum? Thats part of the story of how Sears became such a dominant force in the early 20th century. I think Bass Pro shops could take a page out of their book, literally, and go to using more absorbant paper. Because BPS magazines really do always, always somehow make their way to the bathroom as Wishin said.

WTL, although BPS could offer more lures and more brands, I still have a special place in my heart and in my bathroom for their catalog.
