My walmart aint marking down this year due to an over supply I belive they said. Anyway last year I got a Plano 737 regualr 45 dollars or so, for 17 or 11 dollars, cant remember. Got spinnerbaits for 1 dollar, worms for 50 cents a bag, got a quantum rod for 17 dollars mis priced! Got Rapalas for 3 dollars. Pop R for 2 dollars. Line, I got Spiderline XXX mono for 1 dollar a spool, only bought 1 spool. I still have the tackle box, gotta clean it up, use it for excess baits, and use my bag as main bag.

I bet you mean your store is under supplied. Our Wal Mart is always over stocked in the winter so they have a mark down on almost all of the fishing stuff starting next month. I've gotten 3x baits for .50 cents during the over stock sale and Gamakgatsu hooks for only $1. If a store is overstocked they need to get rid of the product at a cheaper price to get supplies back down or they will lose even more money by keeping the products in the back and not making a profit off of them. So watch for the overstock sales and watch Ebay a lot of companies have started putting their overstock tackle on Ebay for cheap.

There was a whole ton of stuff marked down last night...but most of it was stuff I didn't need. All the good hooks that were marked down had already been raped by someone, lol. They had a ton of 3x stuff marked down a lot, almost all the Kinami's, some spinnerbaits, most of the other soft plastics..pretty much everything, but I'm pretty much full stocked so, it kinda sucks that I don't need the extra stuff...anyway, get out there and get looking, now's a good time to be buyin in stores!

lol, I don't let the bait monkey get me too bad. I'd love to buy everything in the store, but when you're in debt, you're in debt lol. Machinery, college, house, all that stuff gets to be heavy on the pocket, haha. I've got plenty enough to last me through all of next year after the holiday season splurge, so I should be ok.
