WTL,
that setup is a good lookin one! Personally, I would reccomend a Lightning Rod, I just got one Yesterday I got the pistol grip 5ft 6in M action for topwater, but they had a 6ft 6in MH and I believe a 7ft MH, all reasonably priced, around 23-28 dollars. Then for a reel, I reccomend a Rhino RBC 300. Very Dependable with a 6.3:1 ratio. That retails for around 30 dollars. So it should be around 58-60 dollars for both. Plus the rod can take anywhere from 8lb line to 20lb or so line. SO all in all either this one or the one WTL posted is the way to go. Only thing about the one WTL posted, it looks pretty, and can handle anything from 1/4 to 2 oz baits, that is probably the best bet in the choices.

Well the reason I posted that combo is because A) its already matched up and B) its very, very inexpensive. But there are several options in that price range, on my browser when I was pulling that combo up there were at least 2 other combos under 50$, one was a quantum and I forget the other.

Yes its the Bill Dance, and it wouldn't suprise me if that combo isn't so great. Anything thats related to either Bill Dance or the unaverseta of Tinursea is overrated IMHO. On top of that these are all el cheapo deals. But if $50 is your limit, well you get what you can.
