Pull the tank, fill it partially full with stripper, then tip it over on the different sides every day or so. The tank will be almost spotless. Just did this with a ski nautique tank last month, worked perfect.

I second BassBoatCentral. Best site on the net for info on bassboats, fiberglass boats, and motors.
Here is a very valuable thread detailing the process of removing gelcoat oxidation and buffing : http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=311487 Here are some threads people made that show, step by step, the entire process of making an old bassboat new. Just search "Restoration" and you'll find more. http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=261233 http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=395879 http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=420235 http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=237362 |
