Default California Fisherman

okay, went to the local fishing warehouse, guess what. my Luck "E" Strike perfect worm rig

is not available in California anymore. apparently it was banned cause of the particular lead content it has in it. So i called shenanigans on that. Went to the Bass Pro and Cabelas website and its not available to be shipped to California. So i'm thinking im screwed as far as getting one now. So my question to you guys is. is there anything similar to it... that you know of i have been using this for a while and dont know of any alternative.

any info will help =)

Wow...maybe next time I go to California, I will take about 20lb of lead sinkers and sell them on the black market LOL.

I know a man who can get things. He will only markup %50. My fee is %20 in addition to that. Let us know.

Owner makes a few that are similar. And I know they are sold here in Cali.

Looks like Cramer and Newman have launched a new plot to make some $$$$. Just need to find a government vehicle and you two are all set!!

Pmar - I'm sure that there are plenty of small tackleshops online that carry that hook and will be willing to send them to you. Almost every bait I see now has a sticker stating the bait has been banned in CA even if it doesn't have any lead in it.

I'm just going to go right ahead and get it out in the open. I hate California. This thread just brought my latent disgust for their idiotic nonsense out of me, I guess. I loved visiting my Dad there when he was alive, but I don't think I could ever live there. The confiscatory tax rates, big brother watching your every move (while simultaneously advertising an almost arrogant "we're the smartest, most open-minded people in the country" attitude), and having to get the United Nations to supervise every time you want to mow your lawn or dig a hole. I thought about moving out there and becoming a college professor, but the idea of being surrounded by, and fighting with a bunch of leftist whackos day in and day out...I'd snap eventually. I think I'd rather be famous for breaking Perry's record than blowing up my university.

okay, for all of you California fisherman that are having the same problem as me. I HAVE FOUND IT!!. my replacement to this, and believe it or not I actually like it more.

after trying different style and brands this is the only one that actually did not meet my expectations, but exceeded it.
