Default Bow trim switch help?

I was getting my boat ready to fish (finally) after a long layoff and I discovered that the bow trim control is not working. I have done a continuity check on the switch and it is good. I cannot find an in-line fuse, and the dealer says there isn't one. The fuses in the box are all good.

Any suggestions on where I should look? The console trim works just fine, in case you were wondering.

sounds like either a bad switch or wire on the bow, since the dash works .... if switch is good...wire has to be the problem. I would check all connectors/terminals associated with this wire.

Does either bow control work or just one? (Nitros-at least mine-has 2 buttons-up and down)

Sounds like a wire problem. I'd check all the connections and if that's not it try bypassing the wires with a patch wire with alligator clips. If that works you know it is in the wire.

If your trim button at the console works and you have checked the bow switch , make sure you have power going to the switch the only thing left after that is a bad ground connection. If no power to the switch, run a continuity check on the wiring, or check for problems at the relay block. at the console. P N J

Definatley sounds like a break in the power line going to the switch. Run a continuity on the wires from the helm to the front switch you most likel;y will find your problem.

Thanks guys. While I tested the switches, I have no idea why it didn't occur to me to make sure the wire was good. I will let you know if I get it up and running right. While not neccessary, it sure is handy to have those switches working.
