Default Aruku Shad?

Anyone else lovin' these? I tied one on today for the first time, and caught all 3 of my bass on it.
I was fishing stumps, lilys, weed beds, flats and drop offs, so I was throwin all kinds of junk at 'em, but the Aruku was the only bite I got. Lost it on some reeds. Guess I'm makin a Gander run tomorrow

I like them a lot. They fall nose down and land standing up by design. This makes them great for a yo-yo retrieve in the spring.

However I put many casts on a Ratlin' Vibe and Aruku Shad today with no results other than a perch following the Aruku to the boat. Of all the traps I have I like them the best overall I think and they usually do catch fish.

Only added 2 more fish the 2nd day of Bass season. Both on the Aruku. Not a single nibble on anything else.

I had to google them. They look like another lipless crank that I will just curse at.

Well BassBoss,
I would say that it is harder to save money without first earning it.

I just happened to be down the road at Cabela's tonight after work () and picked up a couple of the 75s (one Perch, one Chrome Blue). The best part is I had a coupon to get $15 off my $100 purchase (the rest of what I bought was non-fishing stuff that we already planned to buy anyway), so the Arukus were basically FREE!

What colors are you using?

I have a couple Aruka's in a greenish/orange color. No luck for me on this color.

Is that the firetiger color?
I've been throwing green shiner/blue shiner/magic shad and perch.
5 of the 7 aruku bass came on the green shiner

Mallen, I'm sure you don't want to hear this now... But give their Spooky Shad color a try. I've caught more lipless crank fish on an XCalibur Pearl Melon (similar to the Spooky Shad and LC's Ghost Minnow).

The one on the far left is the Aruka that I have. For whatever reason, I have had zero fish on that color.

13 more Aruku bass between yesterday and today. Most on Green Shiner, a few on Perch.
Did manage to catch some on other baits today. for the first time this season.
4 on spinnerbait and 2 on Cabela's "If'n you give me a minute to rise back to the surface, I'll be a" floating minnow.
Haven't tried my firetiger yet, W2B. I'll give it a shot and see what it does.

Nice Mallen, sounds like you're making up for lost time. Nothing beats lipless cranks for early season bass.
