Hey ya'll, need some advice for fishin' this Saturday. Plan on goin' out to the pond behind our high-school for some largies. This lake is shallow, 16 foot at the deepest, and mostly shallow(2-3 foot) cabbage and milfoil weeds. Moderately clear water(2-3 foot visibility) with little to no fishing pressure, unless you count me and my buddies(

). Temperature lately: 40's in the mornings and about high 60's to 70's in the daytime. Havent measured water temperature. Point is, what are this fish hot on now-a-days? JB, your fairly close, what's been workin for ya lately in the smaller lakes?

How ya been fishin 'em? BTW, we are takin' out our canoe so I can only take about two or three rods, what rods should I take?

Well, we did get out, only came out of it with five though. No size to them, 15" at best, with many being in the 7-10" range. My three came off my X-Rap, Purple, 5". My father's came off of my homemade 1/2 oz. spinnerbait w/ brown and orange skirt.
