I tried to add one to my cart to see why it still said in stock, i got a message at top of screen that said sorry, this is our fault, please call us and we will take your order.
Maybe they stoped the internet orders to keep from selling to many or maybe they are doing rain checks? I would call them if you want one. |

Kevin, I had 4 of the 50e in my cart debating if I wanted them. I waited like 10-15 minutes for my dad to get home to see what he though. Went to buy them, found I needed to readd them to my cart and got the same message. Called the West Marine here in Toledo and they told me sold out. Called the 1-800 number and same thing.

I knew they would not last very long at all. Lots of people got the best deal they will ever see on those reels. I found out about early in the day. I was at the point of adding CC info to an order when I decided I just could not justify it right now no mater how good the deal was.

So I ordered a Citica on the 11th, but hadnt heard anything until tonight. Just got an email saying that they were out and couldn't fill my order...that sucks. Since it had been so long, I was hopeful that I'd made my order soon enough to get one before they were sold out, but I guess not...

I don't get it either. The model changes have been weel publicized. I'd be tempted to sell the current Curado at full price which is a discount over the new Chronarch (with the same specs). The only other thing I can think of is that these retailers need to turn over their inventory and sales may be lagging for several reasons.
