I'll listen to anything but country if I'm with someone else, but I prefer classic rock.
Aerosmith, Queen, Led Zeppelin, GnR, Foreigner, Steve Miller Band, Boston, Foghot, Jethro Tull, BOC, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Styx, Bon Jovi, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Scorpions, The Who, Steppenwolf, Allman Brothers, Golden Earring, Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan (greatest guitarist ever), And the occasional Seger, Clapton, and Elton John. And I'll have to agree with Buzzie about Crap music. And hiphop is just as bad. BB

I'm kinda up in the air about country , in my eyes 90% it these days is pop and for as much as i try not to listen to it my wife loves it so i got no choice sometimes .

I'd have to say I like the newer country better than the older country. I hate the "My dog left me, then my wife got hit by a truck" kind of country song.

Lolipop is just a song that sold like wildfire... lyrically there wasnt much, but hey, if it sells, get your money. I'll make a song about damn near anything for that kind of money. However there are some nice songs on that album such as tie my hands, dr. carter, mr. carter, and a few more. Also forgot to mention lupe fiasco... another lyrical genius
