I heard he was playing for TB... But oh well now I will have to go pick up Jericho Crochery in my fantasy league... Nobody will see it coming. Besides, my WR corps are weak with Welker, Harrison, and Berrian

McFadden will not have an amazing year. He is tearing it up in camp, but Fargas is our starter and we still have Michael Bush. It will be a top notch running game overall but amongst 3 great RBs

no matter were he ends up Frave will have a impact on that team even at his age the guy is better than most could ever be , and it does pain me to see him traded but thats the game i guess I only hope he can have a season as good as the last were ever he plays .

Ted Thompson retired Brett. Brett had doubts & was'nt sure. You will find the interview with fox news that Greta Van Sustran did with him. Where he gives the whole story. Did he say he retired in public yes he did. But if you here his side of the story. He was forced out. They had no plans to play him at all this year if you listen to the interview. I have been a cheesehead all my life. But this year after seeing how the packers treated him. I am following the man to the jets. I have loyalty but not to a bunch of A holes like Ted Thompson & the packers. The Greenbay Packers are a pubicly traded team. The swiftest way for me to return as a fan is the firing of Ted Thompson which can be done by the stockholders. By the way who are Fans themselves.

I only watch pro football now for fantasy football reasons. And since I don't follow the game that much, I usually end up at the bottom of my leagues. But I may pickup a few Jets WR's now that Favre will be playing there.

Chad Pennington will certainly be cut. May sign with the fins or chiefs.

Its good news for the Bucs they didn't get him. Jeff Garcia will have a better year than Favre anyway.

Please let Pennington go to the Cheifs... I'd love to see the Raiders get like 3 picks a game twice in the season

In my eyes Jeff Garcia is one of the most underrated QB's in the league broke my heart when the 49ers couldn't work it out with him .

Sweet .... I wonder how much farther he will stretch the consecutive start record, and the jets recievers better hit the batting cages and practice catching fast balls to be ready for the arm he has .

The AFC East certainly got tougher when Favre joined the Jets. As a Pats fan, I don't want to play him twice a year.

Farve will not be as great this year as most think. The only QB to have a good year at the age of 39 was Warren Moon. Check the stats for anyone else. He had not been training, and look how he was in 05 and 06

How old was Elway? He was up there.

For Favre, he may struggle. It will not be because of his physical attributes. He can still throw the ball 70 yards.

He is going into an new system with a new offense and all new terminology. He will struggle because mentally, that which was second nature to him he will now have to think about.

Thats why I said Garcia will have the better season. He is used to being a journeyman. Favre is used to being the man.

I won't say that Frarve will have a better season than Garcia but I have gotten the impression that to many people are ready to write him off . His first season with the jets will be good they were almost in the playoffs last year and I am pretty sure they will make it with farve behind the ball
