Default What would you have picked?

yesterday I celebrated my 30th year as a steel worker, 25 years of that being a crane operator. So, the company I work for www.hennypenny.com
gives us a day at the ball park, fifty bucks and meal, plaque and paid vacation day, plus a catalog that you can pick anything out and they deliver it to your door.
At first I see a surround sound just like my son in law hase, thought about getting a better one than we have, then glance at a twenty inch tv, a camcorder, a Shimano chronarch reel and rod, and on n on. I wanted some jewelry to tell ya the truth, I collect black onyx rings and they had one.
I went online and started pricing what they had to offer and found that the simmons recliner they offered retailed at 459.00, I bout crapped!
I have never bought any furniture new, but took the plunge and got one.
I've got enough baitcasters and even tho a new one would have been sweet, I figured I 'd get something I dont have instead of upgrading our sound system and other stuff.
Does anyone have the cronarch reel and did i mess up LOL?

No Rolex?

The reel would have been nice. As long as you are happy with your choice.

I guess it all comes down to the most important issue:

Will that recliner fit on the bow deck of a bass boat?

Man...I feel the same way, JB. Unfortunately, our latest intern just left for school...I swear she was the hottest woman ever to walk the planet.

I have read and re-read our associate's handbook, but I just can't seem to find the "must be a volcanically-hot chick to work here" clause. I keep going back to it, because I KNOW it must be in there.

I absolutely love the Chronarch Mgs. They are my favorite baitcasters. I have 13 of them and still want more. Unfortunately, they were discontinued so your lucky that you are able to get one.

If you decide that you don't like it, let me know.

You made the right call man. A reel is a reel, a recliner is a mans throne.

Try a handle of whiskey and a 750ml of jager for to even venture that way . We do no ugly here as I would pass out before she was acceptable .

Not enough info, JB. Do you have a laptop so you can post from the recliner?

So with the reel, you coulda caught fish.
With the chair, you can post about, and read about, catching fish, whilst shopping to feed the bait monkey.
Mallen says nice call JB
