Default Medium Action Spinning Cumara

I purchased a Sustain SF 3000 and recently got a Cumara Seven/two
spinning rod to compliment it. I was bored and just got tired of the reel
in the box. Thing is I am using floro, twelve lbs and I am thinking on using
this setup for tubes, weightless flukes and things on that nature since the
max weight is 3/8oz and 12lb line. Its NOT the med/xfast rod and I don't
have another medium like this. Are there any techniques that you think that I could supplement this rod combo for? And does anyone have either
rod or reel and how do you like it?

You can do just about any presentation with it in the book.
Worming, crankbaits, tubes, jigs, top water, the sky's the limit

If it's a medium power, but not extra-fast action, then what is the action? I believe medium power, fast action rods are excellent general-purpose rods and I've been using them for ages. I use them for everything except for ridiculously extra-heavy cover.

Even though the rod might be rated for 3/8 oz. maximum lure weight, you can use heavier. If it's a lot heavier, just lob cast rather then making a hard snap cast.

I think it was designed with the drop shot in mind. Maybe good for tube too.

I have the Cus-72M 6-12# 1/8-3/8oz power med action fast.
my d/s rod is a crucial d/s spinning and it is rated at
6-12# 1/8-3/8oz med extr fast.

Essentially do you think I brought the same rod?

Is your Crucial the 7'2" or the 6'8"? I have both and like them for drop shotting, I use the shorter one for smaller weight (1/8) since it doesn't have much backbone. The longer one I use for heavier drop shot weights (up to 1 oz.) and shaky head most of the time.
Either way it's a great rod, use it for whatever you want like wacky rigged stick worms, etc.
