Welcome to the forum!

Take a look at your gas tank-if you have water in the fuel that would be the first place I'd look. If that isn't it check the fuel line for cracks/holes-it has to be coming in somewhere, but my guess would be water in the gas tank.

Make sure you aren't buying gas from some hosebag who has poor gasoline also? Believe it or not, if you're buying from the same place all the time, it might be the gas you are buying. If you buy from different places, then it's probably unlikely. That is unless they have a conspiracy going on LOL.

FF, I think there is stuff you can add to the tank to get rid of water, if not you might need to drain the tank and start over.

I put an external fuel/water separator on my 115 Merc in between the fuel tank and the engine. It was not hard to do and will eliminate that problem.

First off completly get rid off the gas in your fuel tanks. Siphoon the gas out. Fill up at a different place and put some SeaFoam in the system. Make sure ALL fittings are nice and tight. Make sure that your tank vent is not getting in the water from shutting down to quick like coming off plane to quick. All this should take care of your problem and definatley start getting fuel from a different vendor
