Default Question?

Can anyone help me out....i recently bought a boat, and i forgot to ask the man i bought it from what the gasil ratio is for the engine.....1982 Evinrude 150 hp....I am trying to get a hold of him but any help will be helpful.

My old evinrude was only a 50hp(1987) I ran 30:1 in it. Yours may be different due to size, not sure.

I had an '89 XP Evinrude 150 and it was 50:1, I used to keep about (4)16oz. snapple bottles full of oil neatly organized inside one of my storage compartments and mix one bottle for every 6gallons of fuel...never had any problems and she ran great!

I ran 50.1 in my old 79 85 and it purred like a kitten..I miss that old boat.

50-1...........ALL of the older motors not having oil injection run on a 50-1 mix
