Default How much are Duck boats?

I`m looking to buy a new duck boat and trailer that I`ll pull using my 1988 thunderbird. It has massive low end torque to haul stuff maybe too much, cuz of the small truck style camshaft.
I want to try out for a small local tournament for kicks. I have an old flasher unit and a trolling motor.

I'd say just about any jon boat would fit the bill [hardy harr har] but our shallow water duck boat is a 14'[?] gheenoe, painted up in camo with a 15HP Johnson when permitting, or a 5HP when we hunt lakes with regulations. It, once again, fits the bill [Hardy harr har]. But you are just looking for a small boat to fish out of, a jon boat is great, as well as a gheenoe. Just depends on how much room you need.

Yes, maybe not as good as Flyrod, or JB, but I make do.

And to actually answer your question Nut, you are looking at ehh I'd say anywhere from 700$ to a Thousand and so. Just depends on what you want, and how good a deal you find.

You done good, kid! Heck, all I could think of as an answer to the title question was "Oh, 'bout a Duck-Fifty. After all, a Duck doesn't need a very big boat. (But the law still requires they have a PFD on board.)"

on the 16 footer i had we use an 1986 30 horse yamaha tiller moter. i have used that boat/moter in canada thru florida i have been out 35 miles in flat ocean in it..to fighting into a squall on santee cooper-that was fun. not!- my sea ark had 4 plugged bullet holes in the hull. i have seen ice an inch thick welding the blind in place..

as for towing it i have towed it with 4 cylinder trucks,a 3 cylinder geo-don't ask-,a v-6 sable wagon,v-8 full size trucks..
