correct. you can pinch it off or just cut it with a knife. helps give it that pulsing motion a senko has on the fall but with a profile resembling more of a baitfish.

the fluke has much more eratic action if you want it to, by the method of jerking, many times you can make it dart upward and then stop reeling and it will decend a dif. angle downwards each time... I've seen where just one twitch and then waiting is more effective than jerking it in a 2-3 cadence like a rogue...as always..it depends on the mood of the fish
