Sounds like you had a real good day. That puppy spook is one awsome topwater bait. I use 12lb test on my topwater stuff, with 6 1/2 med to a mh bait caster. Were you walking the dog with the spook? If you have never walked the dog. It's real easy to do with a little practice. It will get you more strikes. Well so much for me telling you how to do it, you seem to have it down pat. Now go get another one. Good fishing.

What do you think of that fireline KH compared to other braids? Got to use that stuff on Saturday in the salt and loved it compared to my mono. Going to spool up on it today.

umm, this is what i did. fish on, a member on this site, sent me some feather trebles to put on some poppers. instead i put one on a zara spook. i think it helped, its definate that it helped the bait from popping up,the wheight made it stay parrelel to the ground. which caused better action, and sharper hooks

um, if i were you, i would use lo-vis trilene, good, strong line, for a really good price. but if i were you i would stop spending my money on line and get a couple of more rods, whar rod and reel is it??
