Tipsico and Woodland Lakes
I had a busy weekend:
Friday- Took a friend prefishing on Woodland lake in the morning Took father-in-law and family kids fishing on Joslin Lake in the evening Saturday - Prefished for my Tuesday night league on Kent Lake in morning and afternoon Went on Crooked by my house in the evening Sunday - Small pick-up tournament on Tipsico Lake After tournament went to Woodland lake for 6 more hours of fishing Here are a couple from Kent, I hope I can find these again tonight: and we only fished for 3.5 hours in our mini tournament but my partner and I managed a good bag of 13.8 lbs. for the win: On Woodland Lake we really had to fight some crazy boat traffic since it is not too big (less than 300 acres) and there were 50 boats out there from paddle boats to some guy in a 28' cabin cruiser. We caught about 30-40 bass total until my partner dropped one while taking the hook out and the fin landed right on his toe and broke a spine off in it. He ended up in the ER getting it removed! I knew it was bad when he started bleeding from the top and bottom of his toe. Overall a great weekend with lots of hours on the water. Forgot to add that ALL fish came on either Nemesis stick baits, Nemesis gobies, and Kandy Bass football jigs. On a recent trip to SC I met Benny Rigney who hand paints lures and makes jigs and he gave me some of his great football heads. He doesn't have them on his website yet, but he make some great ones: www.kandybass.com They have just a little smaller profile than Mop Jigs, have a football head, and have a nice and heavy hook. |

Sorry about that, I didn't know about the member thing. You don't really want to see the pics anyway, trust me.
