People are getting crazier and crazier. My thoughts and prayers also go out to all the people effected by this shooting.

Being 10 min. away from where the Va. Tech shootings happened, things like this bring back alot of bad memories. Praying for all those involved.

Sad.....when those 6 young people woke up Fri am--all excited about that nights pool party and seeing all their friends and thinking about all the fun they were going to have they had no idea that they wouldn't see Sat morning.
A couple of weeks ago an old friend of mine and his 18 yr old son were moving a grain auger. Accidentally hit a pwer line and killed the son instantly and the father lost both hands and feet trying to free him.
Yall be careful.

Man that's tough Kenneth, my prayers to your friend and his family. Back when I was younger there was a terrible farming accident in the town where I grew up. This farmer and his family had a rule that anytime a piece of farm equipment was coming into or leaving the driveway all the kids had to be on the porch where the dad could see them (if they were playing outside). One day the dad was leaving the house on a combine and all the kids were on the porch where they were supposed to be but just as the dad got to where he couldn't see them any longer the dog ran out towards the combine. Their little boy ran after the dog and the combine ran over the little boy and killed him. I could never imagine being in the dads shoes.

During a hospital visit, he told me he deserved to lose his hands/feet and hoped that he would die. Hard to comfort someone going through a situation like that, and to make it worse his wife (though not saying it outright) seems to actually blame him too. And the ultimate sadness...this family has always mocked God and Church and anyone's faith as "weakness" . I sense a chance for God to show up in their lives in a big way. You know it's got to be easy to be God (or Godless) when everything is rosy, not so much now.
