Default New to bass fishing...

Hey all,
Im new to the board and farily new to bass fishing (bout 4 years running)... ive been fishing for trout for quite some time and its boring me... My question is, i fish a man made lake in sonoma county california and i use a pontoon style float tube....but i cant seem to ring in the bass consistently. Theres lots of cover and brush and tree stuff where i fish. How far out should i be? Do i cast into the cover or try and land my lure right where the cover meets the water....sorry this is a total newbie question...

cheers,
RomeoX

romeo

put it as close to cover as possable. the more clear the water the tighter the bass hold to cover. always hit the shaded side first...

sweet avatar btw ...
