how to test coils and coil feed
HEY FOLKS, CAN ANYONE OUT THERE TELL ME HOW TO TEST TO SEE IF MY COILS ON MY 1989 175 H.P. MERC. BLACK MAX.ARE WORKING PROPERLY? I PUT A TIMING LIGHT ON EACH PLUG WIRE AND SEEM TO GET AN INTERMITTANT READINGS ON ONE WIRE. I REPLACED IT BUT STILL HAVING TROUBLE. I HAVE HAD THE CARBS AND FUEL PUMP REBUILT AND I HAVE REPLACED THE ENRICHNER VAVLE BUT STILL HAVE A ROUGH IDLE AND LOSE TOP END SPEED AND R.P.M. AT TIMES. GOING AFTER ELECTICAL NEXT. ANY IDEAS?
